Vocational Excellence logo
The annual Rotary District 9685 Vocational Excellence Awards is an integral part of our clubs' Vocational Service program.
 
The Awards were inaugurated in 1982 and first presented to three candidates at the 1983 District Conference in Bathurst by PDG Graham Turnidge.
 
The aims of the Award in summary are:
 
  • To recognise VOCATIONAL EXCELLENCE of the highest order
  • To inspire further enthusiasm
  • To set an example to others of the need to strive for VOCATIONAL EXCELLENCE
 
The 2016 District Conference saw the 23rd annual presentation of the Vocational Excellence Awards.  This year we recognised:
 
  • Anthea Hammon -Director, Hammon Holdings Pty Ltd
  • Chris Rehn - Chief Executive, Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children
  • Dr Sandra Meihubers - Dental Public Health Consultant
