MEALS ON WHEELS - VAN PROJECT

Hello fellow Rotary Presidents

The Rotary Club of Roseville Chase has been in contact with the Hornsby / Ku-ringgai Meals On Wheels organisation regarding supporting their community services activities by providing funds for them to buy a new diesel Toyota HiAce refrigerated van to transport meals (fresh and frozen) between their kitchen and the various distribution hubs.

This Meals on Wheels area of operation covers all of Hornsby Shire and Ku-ring-gai Council area. I am writing to you as your Rotary Club services communities in these local government areas.

There are 20 Rotary Clubs that cover this Meals on Wheels service area and if we all make a small contribution and we seek financial support from District and the Rotary Foundation this project will be easy to fulfil.

Please consider this Meals on Wheels Community Services project and advise me of the funds your club may be willing to commit. The schedule for the project is for Funds to be paid in mid 2016. If we are oversubscribed we will reduce the contribution offered to meet the projects requirements.
