Rotary Matters
On air Friday 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm
Radio is a powerful way to spread your Club stories. If your Club has a project, local or overseas, which would interest the wider general public, discuss it with Rotary Matters presenter Ian Stuart who will be glad to help spread the word. 0416 138 860

Rotary on the Radio
What does it take to be President of a Rotary Club? We meet Tim Shea, retiring as President of Turramurra Rotary Club and learn why he joined, his challenges on assuming office, lessons learned and thoughts on the ongoing reason why the World Needs Rotary.
Don’t Throw it Out! Intelligent Repurposing.
Do you ever wonder what to do with your old computer, laptop, iPAD, notebook, printer or other electronic equipment? Peter Holdenson an enterprising Rotarian repairs and repurposes these items and supplies them free of charge through Donations in Kind to communities in the Pacific and South East Asia. Making a huge difference to the education and development of thousands of people who would otherwise be unable to afford what we take for granted.
Thought leadership by Rotary on Climate Change
With the evidence of climate change all around us what are the implications for defence, for energy and food? A timely, topical and essential consideration for us all. We meet Jeremy Wright AM, Rotary District Governor, who foreshadows a free webinar he is hosting on 10 August. A learned faculty will present their views, the options and solutions. Click on the link for an edited version of the Rotary Matters program, aired Friday 30 July.
Please let me know of any Club activities that would interest the wider general (non Rotary) public and I’ll endeavour to promote them.
