Most Rotarians know about the Centurion and Paul Harris Fellow recognition programs for individuals who make donations to The Rotary Foundation.  But, did you know about the new recognition programs that honour Rotary Clubs for making donations?
The idea is to encourage your club to allocate a share of your club’s fund-raising project income to Rotary’s own charity – The Rotary Foundation – in addition to the special causes that you are passionate about.
The Club Giving Awards honour the Clubs that donated at least $5000 to The Rotary Foundation’s Annual Fund, and/or that donated at least $2200 to the End Polio Now Fund.
For the year ending June 2021, the Awardees were:

Lower Blue Mountains
Northbridge
Chatswood Roseville
Lane Cove
Carlingford
West Pennant Hills & Cherrybrook
Ryde
Mosman
Lower Blue Mountains
Northbridge
Chatswood Roseville
North Ryde
The Hills-Kellyville
Nepean
Turramurra
Pennant Hills
Blackheath

As you plan your club’s fund-raisers for this Rotary year, we ask you to set aside 10% of the amount raised for these two Rotary Foundation programs.  The Annual Fund is our “seed bank” that returns money to our district for club-directed projects.  The Polio Fund is vital to ensure that polio is finally eradicated from the planet.
