The Rotary Foundation distributes millions of dollars every year by way of Global Grants to fund humanitarian projects, vocational training and scholarships tenable at overseas universities. Dennis Shore from Victoria and an avid Rotarian,  has held numerous governance roles with Rotary and explains how it all works.
When we think of family abuse most of us think about physical abuse but it also includes emotional, psychological, financial and sexual abuse along with neglect and coercive control of a person. Dorothy Gilmour, trauma, loss and
grief counsellor from Melbourne,   explains how to stop abuse in families everywhere, including how to recognise abuse, how to raise concern and how to refer it.
Cheers! And remember to send me details of any of your Club hosted activities open to the wider general public for inclusion in the What’s On section of the program which goes live to air on Friday afternoons. BBQs, book fairs, concerts etc.
