Delivering a Mobile Clinic to Zimbabwe: Call for Support
The Rotary Club of The Hills–Kellyville, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Hunyani (Zimbabwe), is advancing a Global Grant project to deliver a fully equipped mobile clinic to Silveria Mission Hospital in Bikita, Zimbabwe.
This project addresses a critical healthcare gap in a rural community where access to medical services is limited. The mobile clinic will enable outreach services, support maternal and emergency care, and provide reliable transport for patients in urgent need.
The Rotary Foundation has approved the project, securing key contributions from District 9685 and Rotary International. This marks a major milestone for the initiative. Based on updated quotations, the total project cost is approximately USD 60,000.
Funding Progress:
- Rotary Club of The Hills–Kellyville: USD 20,000
- District 9685: USD 10,000
- Rotary International: USD 8,000
- Host Club & Kwedu Trust: USD 2,200 (to be used for inland logistics)
- Zim-Swiss Doctors: USD 1,100

Remaining Gap: Approximately USD 19,000To bridge this gap, a fundraising campaign has been launched through Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS), allowing for tax-deductible donations within Australia.
