PELD & District Assembly
President Elect Learning & Development
President Elect Learning & Development (PELD) is the opportunity to to connect through our Clubs to the communities we serve and other members who support and make our work possible around the world.
Thank you for taking on this responsibility, perhaps not for the first time, in preparing to become President of your Club. The District 9685 Team and Rotary Community Group Leaders are here to help you work together with your cohort to support you where and when needed, making the coming year as productive and satisfying as possible.
PELD 2026 | 7th March 2026 | Location TBC
Start with your own self-directed learning through the Learning Centre. Start as soon as you can, so you will not be overloaded in January and February with PELD learning and development sessions in March.
District Assembly
The purpose of the District Assembly is to prepare incoming club leaders for their year in office and to build their leadership team. It also allows the incoming District Governor and District Team to motivate club leadership teams and help develop collaborative relationships to maximise our impact. It is essential that each club sends its board members and Chairs to the Assembly to ensure they are up to date and ready for their year in office.
District Assembly 2026 | 9th May 2026 | Location TBC
Details will be distributed to incoming Club Board Members. Resources and presentations from past District Assemblies are available here.
Attendees must complete the relevant courses available on the RI Learning Centre. This maximises your understanding of the upcoming role you are taking on, irrespective of your years of experience as a Rotarian.
