A DISTRICT STORY MAKING AN IMPACT
BRISBANE WATER ROTARY - AFRICAN CONNECTIONS
- Protecting Rhino population in Segera Wildlife Sanctuary, Kenya
- Students from Inzozi Hills school in Rwanda visit a farm
- Montessori education and teacher training in Kampala, Uganda
Shining a light on the work of the busy Rotary Club of Brisbane Water and it's close connections in Africa:
With a recent $20,000 grant, drone technology is being used to help monitor and protect Segera Wildlife Sanctuary in Kenya, particularly its rhino population.
Improved surveillance, support of anti-poaching technologies and more effective monitoring of these endangered animals and their habitat. Roarsome!

Students from Inzozi Hills school in Rwanda had an opportunity to visit a farm.
