Rotary Community Leader Ruth Vumbaca Inspires at Area Gathering

Rotary Community Leader Ruth Vumbaca recently brought together a vibrant group of local clubs for a day of connection, collaboration, and inspiration.

Clubs represented on the day included St Ives, Warringah, Wahroonga, Berowra, Belrose, Upper Northern Beaches, and Balgowlah — a powerful cross-section of passionate Rotarians united by service and fellowship.

Ruth facilitated meaningful discussions around how clubs can work together to increase Rotary’s impact, share ideas, and support each other’s community projects. From youth initiatives and environmental programs to international partnerships, the energy in the room was unmistakable — a clear reflection of Rotary’s strength when clubs collaborate.

Each club shared stories of amazing Rotarians delivering community service projects both locally and globally — improving lives, building hope, and amplifying Rotary’s visibility across District 9685.

The event highlighted the importance of teamwork and innovation in shaping Rotary’s future, and Ruth’s leadership was warmly recognised for her ability to connect people, spark ideas, and turn inspiration into action.

As one attendee commented, “Days like this remind us that together, we’re part of something truly powerful — Rotary in motion, making a difference where it matters most.”
